i feel like a grown-up thanksgiving now…
my mom’s rank order of the dinner i made for the family…
n. engl. tuna chowder >
panko-crusted chicken breast >
sauvignon blanc poached salmon >
spinach + portabello + grape tomato + mozzarella salad >
cinammon honey pumpkin pie >
roasted brussels sprouts >
kokuho sweet rice (i mean, it’s hard to screw this up but it’s nothing special)
… this was all made from scratch, except for the pie crusts and the garlic mashed potatoes (that we did not even get to serving). this makes me absolutely ecstatic. props to ms. guo for making sure i actually descaled the salmon filets before throwing them in the saucepan ^_^ pictures to be posted when i find some.
